The Goal
The Harrow Inn is a traditional pub in Wanborough, Wiltshire which has undergone a revamp. The pub (who do an amazing roast!) were looking for garden furniture which continued the relaxed theme inside through into the pub garden.
The pub has a lot of big groups and traditional pub benches meant groups were crowded together or had to eat separately. The pub benches were also awkward to move. With the sets from The Pallet Studio, the furniture can work around the groups with moveable benches and tables
Andy from The Harrow Inn says “the traditional benches are great but the screws need tightening frequently and we regularly see big groups sitting separately due to the seating”
The Solution
Andy and his partner Claire had bought a corner sofa set from The Pallet Studio for their own garden which they continue to use today. The Harrow Inn has a lot of outside space, the main pub garden section for eating was where the furniture was needed. With the garden in an L shape, moveable benches fitted well in the space. We have put corner sofas in a seating entrance at the front of the pub which has become a popular space for customers.
